Who is Insured?
The deposits of individuals and companies kept at banks, building societies and cooperative savings banks engaged in business in the Czech Republic on the basis of a licence issued by the Czech National Bank are insured.

.
The condition for insuring each deposit is that the person making the deposit is duly identified. That means that in the case of:
- Individuals, the deposit is maintained in the name, surname, personal identification number (or date of birth) and address of the person making the deposit;
- Companies, the deposit is maintained in the company name or name of the legal entity, its registered seat, and identification number (only domestic companies).
Neither individuals nor legal entities must apply for deposit insurance in any way. A deposit kept at a bank, building society or cooperative savings bank is insured entirely automatically, by law.
Věděli jste, že..?
- Váš vklad je pojištěn automaticky ve chvíli, kdy uzavřete smlouvu s bankou a vložíte na účet své prostředky.
- Nemusíte nikam chodit, nic podepisovat, hlídat žádné termíny a nic platit.
- Pojištění je jednotné a ze zákona pro všechny, odpadají různé „výhodné“ nabídky.
